We got to celebrate Isaiah's 6th (and 1st) birthday on April 23rd. What a precious day to see how delighted Isaiah was with his special day. He has waited SOOO patiently for his birthday, as he has been home for 11 months, before it was time to have his celebration.
Isaiah got a few special gifts like a remote control Lightning McQueen Car and a Leapster game. But I had to smile when he told me his favorite gift. - It was the kickstand we gave him for his bike. These kids understand gratefulness in a way that I could only wish to show half of.
We also laughed with Isaiah eating his cake. It actually mirrored the pictures momma's often get on that first birthday, because he didn't know how to cut the cake with his fork. He picked the whole thing up on his fork and attempted to bite pieces off. It was pretty humorous.
