We have been big fans of American Idol for several years now. It's been amazing to see the Lord use this secular platform to bring glory to his name. We've seen Carrie Underwood sing "Jesus Take the Wheel", and Mandisa, and Melinda Doolittle. This year we saw Dolly Parton telling Simon that she's got Jesus, a crazy band singing "This Little Light of Mine", and David Archuleta and Brooke singing songs about Jesus.
But the highlight of it all and the highlight of American Idol Gives Back, was this video with all of the contestants singing "Shout to the Lord". WOW!
Even the secular world trying to raise money to help the poor and distressed know that it is the LORD who is sovereign and who gets all the glory!
Power and Majesty, Praise to His Name!!!
